Saturday 4 September sees the start of the 2021-22 Yorkshire 3 campaign for the Castleford RUFC 1XV with a home game at Willowbridge Lane against Halifax Vandals R.U.F.C.
The lads hope to make it 3 wins in a row after the two friendly midweek friendlies against Wheatley Hills RUFC; the second floodlit match on 26 August was a very tough and uncompromising battle but the lads came out on top 26-17. The try scorers in the match were Tom Egan, Lawrence Stephens, Jarron Southernwood and Josh Riding with Tom Egan adding 3 conversions. The club thanked Wheatley Hills for the good competitive games and wish them all the luck in their Yorkshire 2 season.
The team are hoping for good support in Yorkshire 3 so please come along for the 3.00 KO.
