As part of the very successful Fun Day on 28 August there was a Memorial and Charity game played by two teams drawn from former players by Paddy Collins and Matty Kirkbright. In a keenly contested game, the standard of rugby was good and 'energetic' and played in good spirit befitting the annual Gerald Kirkbright Memorial contest. A good sum of £145 was raised on the raffle for the MPS Society UK, here for those with rare diseases (for MPS, Fabry and other related diseases). Many thanks to all concerned and this formed part of Steve Gill's #59events.
