The annual Castleford RUFC Juniors' trip to Scarborough went well and everyone had a great time. The group of 47, comprising of players, parents and coaches, left the Castleford RUFC clubhouse good and early at 8.30 to make the most of the excellent weather on Sunday 27 June.
Blue skies and warm sun were the order of the day and the opportunity was taken to play touch rugby and rounders on the beach or to just enjoy a welcome rest, taking in the sea air. After picnics and ice creams and more beach games a few braved the North Sea before a few tired children and adults headed off back home after a wonderful day.
Thanks to Poppleton's for the bus.
